Zhou Ying bedroom scene in drama Devotion

The Ch8 mid-year blockbuster drama Devotion is a milestone of sorts for MediaCorp artiste Zhou Ying.

In the show, Zhou Ying takes part in her first bedroom scene opposite veteran actor Chen Han Wei. She also plays her first baddie role.

Zhou Ying stars as Yuan Fang, the eldest of Ah Di's (played by Zoe Tay) adopted children, who strongly believed that Ah Di was the one who sent her father to jail.

To take revenge on Ah Di, Yuan Fang seduced Ah Di's first love Huang Da Ke, who is played by Chen Han Wei.

The actress proclaimed "it (the bedroom scene) would be a turning point" in her acting career. Zhou Ying was initially worried about the scene but became relieved, after knowing that she would be acting opposite experienced actor Chen Hanwei.
