Michael Tse performs actions scenes without using a substitute
Michael Tse's new movie "Laughing Gor之變節" has finally started shooting. In order for the movie to be aired during the summer and golden period, Michael started to shoot scenes in hot weather. He jumped across canopies and rooftops of old tenement houses in Sham Sui Po to fight with his enemies.
On the day of the shooting the weather was very hot, although it rained occasionally the atmosphere was similar to a steamer. Michael was required to wear a jacket and had many fighting scenes. He laughed and said he had lost 2 pounds from sweating. As to whether he could cope with a large number of fighting scenes, he appeared to be very confident. He said "As well as jumping on rooftops, I will even jump across a canopy that is of long distance. We have planned the distance and I should be able to cope. My wife feels assured because there are many professional stuntmen around. I hope to perform all the dangerous action moves myself. I don't want to use a substitute as I would like the scenes to look realistic. A stuntment accidentally twisted his ankle earlier, I hope he is Okay. I have done a lot of preparations and trust Chin Ka Lok who is my action director. Although Director Herman Yau has high expectations the whole cast can handle it. I am satisfied with my own action moves".
