33rd Hong Kong International Film Festival officially launched on the night of 23rd March. Action packed movie 'The Sniper' casting Richie Ren, Michelle Ye, Huang Xiao Ming and Edison Chen with director Dante Lam will be premiered with the three leads present, becoming the target of the media that night.
Michelle Ye who has been busy filming Johnny To's new production 'Vengeance', was rarely present at promotional events due to tight schedule. She was however present this time around as the female lead, and appeared as warm and as friendly as ever. While impressing others with her elegant aura, her new works are also much anticipated by everyone.
2009 is said to be Michelle's 'movie year', be it 'The Sniper' hitting the Hong Kong screens or 'Vengeance' which will be released in Vienna Film Festival in the coming May, or the new thriller theme she will be challenging in her new upcoming movie, the attention of audience on her has transferred from the TV to the movies, this new talent of the industry is very much anticipated.
