Ella will be celebrating her 28th birthday on the 18th of this month. Earlier her fan club [Forever Ella] purchased advertisement spaces on buses to wish her a happy birthday. She was a bit embarrassed when she was told of this and expressed: [This is really creative from the fans but I don’t want them to spend so much money unless they won the lottery, then it would be Ok. Hahaha!]
From understanding, posting an ad on buses cost NTW $9000 per bus. Although there was no way of proving how many buses did the fan club contract, but they were very considerate in choosing the bus routes that would pass by Ella’s home in hopes of her seeing it. Furthermore, there were also numerous messages and countdowns on the HIM official website to wish her a happy birthday.
Couple-like Faces with Wu Chun
She was in the midst of busily shooting [Down with Love] co-starring Jerry Yan. The production team had not yet agreed to let her have the day off on her birthday. Although she and Jerry Yan had become the newest on-screen couple, her fans still organized a pictorial collection comprised of pictures showing her and Wu Chun having “couple-like faces”. She laughed loudly: [I really admire the fans for gathering such a collection of pictures. There were many that even I had forgotten where those pictures were taken. They really got into the roles.]
