"Nanking! Nanking!" star Gao Yuanyuan, who was recently caught through a paparazzi's lens cuddling and kissing a man in front of a flat, admitted through her agent that she was in a relationship with the man, actor Yu Xiaowei.
Cao Dafang, Gao's agent, addressed the media on Monday saying that Gao Yuanyuan is like that, you love and you admit it. There is nothing to hide and it's just normal for girls.
The actress was also quoted as saying "you now know what happened…", seemingly giving her approval about what the media had found out.
Reportedly, the actress was picked up by Yu at Beijing's Capital International Airport on May 23 and she was spotted slinging affectionate arms around him when they met. She was later driven to Yu's flat and was caught in a passionate embrace after they got out off the car.
A close source revealed, the two have known each other for about ten years but didn't fall in love with each other until six months ago. And only a few friends knew about this very low-key relationship.
Actress Gao Yuanyuan was previously rumoured to be in a relationship with director Wang Xiaoshuai and renowned pop producer and songwriter Zhang Yadong. However, the actress never talked about these romances publicly.
Actor Yu Xiaowei was a star of the TV drama "Rouge Snow", produced by actress Fan Bingbing.
