Michael Tse and Kate Tsui in Lives of Omission

Michael Tse Kate Tsui

TVB series Lives of Omission is currently a popular hit, making Michael Tse and Kate Tsui the target on magazine reports. It was said after Stephen Chan resumed his position at TVB, he plans to boost his favorites Wong He and Wayne Lai up for TV King, shattering Michael's dreams. Kate also asked the producer to new series Schemes of East and West to give her more screen time, so she can defeat Fala Chen. However, her plans failed and therefore she withdrew from the series.

Yesterday Michael and Kate took part in the recording of 全城喜動 in Macau. Towards the related reports, Kate had a big reaction and explained: "Never heard of such thing. This is quite interesting, I did discuss a script and role with Producer Tommy Leung, but because of schedule conflicts, I couldn't take part in the series. (You don't want to collaborate with Fala?) No such thing, why would that be so? We just completed a series together. (Is it not 'if there is her, then there is no you'?) Why would that be? TVB already has a shortage of people, so they are happy when there are more people coming. Perhaps there will be more time to earn some extra money. (Fala is your greatest opponent for this year's TV Queen title?) I know I already have 5 series broadcast this year, but I personally support Myolie Wu. I heard her performance in Queen of All is awesome."

Michael just expressed: "I don't have to comment on this, there are too many of these fabricated news. (Stephen Chan made everyone in TVB split in groups and parties again?) In fact it is not Mr. Chan splitting the groups on his own, it is the public that is helping him do so. I feel that we all have the same goal, and that is to work for TVB."

michael tse

Michael Tse is getting ready to attend TVB's Anniversary Celebration on the 4th December. He went to the sponsoring Jewelry in Tsim Sha Tsui to chose his jewelry yesterday. Michael picked a set of diamond worth 4.8 million HKD, including a 13 carats brooch and a 35 carats bracelet as well as a 10 carats ring. Michael expressed that he is not used to choosing jewelry. He told reporter "The last time I went to a jeweler was when I had lost my wedding ring. It was a heartache that I prefer to forget." Michael knows diamond always keep its value, but he doesn't usually buy them. He was asked if his wife wants diamond as present from him? Michael said "I told her I owe it to her, if she wants a bigger one, she will have to wait patiently." Michael remarked that male artists don't wear many jewelry. This is so that the camera can focus on the female artists and show their sexiness . Tonight is TVB's anniversary evening gala, Michael will not dress formally, he said "I just need to present my self nicely because I am performing a dance. I won't wear any jewelry because it would be a disaster if I drop them." Michael will be performing with Ron Ng, Bosco Wong, Bernice Liu and Linda Chung. He joked "I am thrilled that the company still arrange for me to do this performance taking into account of my age. I need to grow some acne to look young." Talking about his confidence for winning the award, he said his confidence has increased day by day for winning the supporting actor's award. He and Wayne were not nominated in the same category. However, for the "Most favorite TV Actor" award, it is difficult to tell. Michael went on to say "This award is decided by the viewers who have to vote. I will respect this award, and I can't say that I am confident. I think that really depends if the company think I have worked hard enough."

Filming in Hokkaido Too Happy to be Homesick
Michael Tse and Tavia Yeung Kiss Romantically in the Snow

Michael Tse, Julian Cheung (Chi Lam), and Tavia Yeung went to Hokkaido to film for "The Morning of the Flying Fish in Hanami". Besides filming, they can enjoy the beautiful scenery, and indulge in sashimi and Japanese cuisine. After arriving in Hokkaido for a week, they ate non-stop, and it seemed as if they were filming a food and drink programme. However, Michael and Chi Lam will have a hot springs scene, and they will be required to reveal the top half of their body, so they cannot eat too much. Michael says, "It is not hard to hold back on eating, but the most labourious is the hot springs area. They only allow us to film there in the morning from 7 to 8. The weather is very cold, so my mouth is shivering when I say my lines". Michael and Tavia will play a couple, and Michael says that in his career, Tavia is the female artiste he has had the most kiss scenes with. He says, "This time, I will have four kiss scenes with her. I have never kissed that many times before [in series]. It also snowed during the filming process, so it felt a bit romantic". And Michael is most happy to work with his idol. "Actually, this is my first time working with Damian Lau. He is my idol, and I have learnt a lot from him. Generally speaking, I am very happy filming this series!"

Caption 1: Michael, Chi Lam, Tavia, and Myolie all in Hokkaido filming a new series.

Caption 2: Damian is his idol and Chi Lam is his friend. No wonder Michael is so happy filming this series.

Caption 3: Michael and Chi Lam will play sushi chefs. In order to film this hot springs scene, the two of them did not dare to eat the tasty food in front of them.

Caption 4: Michael and Tavia's relationship in the series is difficult and hard to resolve. This pairing is very refreshing.

Caption 5: Michael will have four kiss scenes with Tavia, luckily they are both good actors, so they did not have NG much.

virginia lok

The "Laughing Gor" Movie was filming the ending scene earlier. TVB Executive Virgina Lok came to visit the set. Towards Michael Tse telling Reporters that the movie might play in Beijing as well, Ms. Lok said: "We are currently just discussing it, our goal is that we hope to have the movie be able to play in Mainland, maybe after Michael saw the trailer, he was too excited!"

Also, Ms. Lok's outfit that day had the two letters "MJ" on it, when she was taking pictures with Michael, he jokingly said: "Ms. Lok is a fan of MJ, tell her to dance like MJ!" Ms. Look then immediately fought back: "You are the Dance King, do the Moonwalk!"

Fala Chen expressed that she gained a lot from Francis Ng and Anthony Wong. Asked if the two men used their "flowerly mouth" (flirt) on her? Fala said: "No. Francis always inspires me, gives me lots of advices. When I ask him for advice, he would answer me in a very serious tone, he's like a book. He didn't scold at me at all maybe because I'm very obedient!" Even when taking a bath Fala would reflect on her performance that day, but she smiled and said that her experience in the movie market is not enough.

Raymond Lam wearing his T-Back to compete with Laughing Gor

raymond lamraymond lam

Michael Tse was invited by Raymond Lam to appear as guest in his "Let's get Wet " concert on 17th and 18th of June in The Hong Kong Coliseum. They were having their rehearsal yesterday. Reporter asked Raymond how was the ticket sale doing? Raymond said all tickets were sold out, his friends and family have all bought tickets to support him. Asked if he had got rid of the front seats usually reserved for him to shake hands with the audience? Raymond said it is not true, in fact the stage has three dimensions. They made a long bridge extended from the stage to reach out to the first 15 rows. That way, he can be close to the audience and he can shake hands with them more easily. In the corner of the stage, there is a fountain which is insured by the company. The reporter asked if he is worried about getting scratched by his audience, Raymond smiled and said "I am very clumsy myself, I am worried I may trip over." The reporter went on to ask if he is nervous as the concert is drawing close? Raymond replied "I was nervous long time ago, but now, I just want to do the best I can. I hope everyone enjoys themselves when they come in." Raymond stressed that he is showing his singing talent, not his muscle."

During rehearsal the other night, Raymond said it is Michael who is leading him. Michael was very modest, saying "How can I lead him? He has learned it all." Michael will appear as guest in his concert on both nights. He will sing and dance with Raymond as well as singing a solo. Michael revealed that he just tried on his dancing costume and they really fitted him well. Reporter asked if they were sexy outfit, he smiled "Raymond promised he will wear a T-Back. I won't put on a T-Back, but I am not far from that, and it is a tight fit. If I had eaten more, there might be an accident." Michael disclosed that Raymond is much fitter now, yet he himself has to reduce his tummy fat. Speaking about his role as "Laughing Gor" that made him very hot these days, is he worried that he may steal all the limelight in Raymond's concert? Michael smiled "No, the moment he comes out with his T-Back, there is no comparison. After all, its his concert." Michael stressed that he had wanted to work with Raymond for a long time. He hopes Raymond can relax and do his best.

Michael Tse performs actions scenes without using a substitute

michael tsemichael tsemichael tsemichael tse

Michael Tse's new movie "Laughing Gor之變節" has finally started shooting. In order for the movie to be aired during the summer and golden period, Michael started to shoot scenes in hot weather. He jumped across canopies and rooftops of old tenement houses in Sham Sui Po to fight with his enemies.

On the day of the shooting the weather was very hot, although it rained occasionally the atmosphere was similar to a steamer. Michael was required to wear a jacket and had many fighting scenes. He laughed and said he had lost 2 pounds from sweating. As to whether he could cope with a large number of fighting scenes, he appeared to be very confident. He said "As well as jumping on rooftops, I will even jump across a canopy that is of long distance. We have planned the distance and I should be able to cope. My wife feels assured because there are many professional stuntmen around. I hope to perform all the dangerous action moves myself. I don't want to use a substitute as I would like the scenes to look realistic. A stuntment accidentally twisted his ankle earlier, I hope he is Okay. I have done a lot of preparations and trust Chin Ka Lok who is my action director. Although Director Herman Yau has high expectations the whole cast can handle it. I am satisfied with my own action moves".
