Miriam attended the press conference of "Top 10 Outstanding Youth Election 2009" yesterday. She expressed that she'll nominate a few friends who are doing medical work for the election, but did not answer if she'll nominate Real Ting. She responded to the rumours of her and Real Ting getting married, "This had been said more than 10 times, for a few years. I'd have been married 6 times!" She stressed that she doesn't have plans to get married yet and joked, "Mr Lai(Leon Lai) should leave the Dream Wedding concert for me, it'll sure be a hit. I'm going to release new album, more eager to lay gold eggs than to give birth."
A magazine wrote that Real Ting had admitted that Miriam is his girlfriend. Miriam expressed that she doesn't want to talk about it anymore as the other party has already responded. When being asked if Real Ting would invite Miriam to go cycling, she replied, "I don't know how to cycle, and I'm ambassador of whitening so I can't be exposed under the sun.(Didn't he teach?) No. If I want to learn, I'd learn motorcycling and swimming first. Swimming is good for health and can help cure my asthma."
