eVonne Hsu slaps Dylan Kuo all for nothing

eVonne Hsu, who has been filming the MV for her new song, , had managed to invite Dylan Kuo, who previously was rumoured to be her boyfriend, to act as the male lead. The intimate scenes between the both of them were done fluidly, but the only slapping scene was completely edited out in the end by the director.

Both eVonne and Dylan had worked together on a commercial last year, and they had also filmed a show, together in Mainland China, so they have perfect chemistry together. Dylan had reportedly volunteered to be part of eVonne’s MV then already, and for , they act as a couple that spends most of their time apart, rather than together.

The slapping scene in the MV involved them in a heated argument, and this proved to be a rather big challenge for the normally soft-spoken eVonne. But the more experienced Dylan advised her not to be afraid, and “Hit it really hard like it’s real, and get it OK in one take!”

So during the real take itself, eVonne gave it her best shot and slapped Dylan as hard as she could, causing a red patch to appear on his face shortly after. The edited version of the MV was recently released, but the entire slapping scene was edited out, causing eVonne to feel even worse about it, and she remarked that she had to call Dylan to personally apologize about slapping him for nothing at all.
