Jackie Chan to Bring 'Gift of Hope'
The world's greatest stunt action superstar Jackie Chan will come back to the city that granted him an honorary citizenship.
The "Rush Hour" and "Police Story" star will be in the southeastern city of Tongyeong today and tomorrow. Chan visited Tongyeong four years ago to donate 100 million won worth of computers and clothes and to establish a 20 million won scholarship endowment for the city's orphans.
In an official statement, the city of Tongyeong said Chan will spend two days in the city and his itineary includes having lunch with orphans.
The 55-year-old will also be featured in a special event sponsored by SBS called "Jackie Chan's Project Hope" with the action star participating in tight-rope walking, bobbing-for-snacks, relay racing, and couple racing.
Tomorrow, Chan is scheduled to take part in the clean-up of a local beach and a bicycle riding event.
