Aaraon Yan donates $1 Million NTD to Japan Earthquake

On the 14th, Arron Yan YaLun participated in Hit FM's White Day(1) celebration; he appeared as a "Piano Prince" and played with a group of kindergarteners. The children kissed him and praised his lips as "so soft!" Recently, rumors of Fahrenheit's disbanding have been rampant; Arron excitedly and proudly revealed that Fahrenheit will be appearing as a group on the 25th in Malaysia. They will be filming a commercial together, as well as appearing at a promotional event. The four will, together, be making more than $10 million NTD. It will also be the first time Arron is appearing with the other three Fahrenheit members since releasing his solo album.

Arron will be donating $1 million NTD, along with some basic goods and materials, to Japan's disaster relief efforts. Several Japanese fans actually traveled to Taiwan to participate in his autograph concert a few days ago. One of the fans was actually from one of the Japanese districts affected by the earthquake; because she had gone to Taiwan, she escaped the disaster entirely. Some of her friends and classmates, however, weren't so lucky: they fell victim to the tsunami.(2) Out of gratefulness, the fan's mother purchased 100 copies of Arron's album.

Arron consulted a "fortune telling" expert before releasing his album; he was told to wear all red on the day of his pre-order autograph concert for good luck. The weather that day really was beautiful. Moreover, when he was on his way to the event, riding the high-speed rail, media bigwig 邱復生 Chiu FuSheng saw him, but failed to recognized him, though he praised Arron as "good-looking" and even gave him his business card. Arron was struck and overwhelmed by his good luck; he felt he owed it all to his lucky red clothes!

What does it take for one to prepare for a bed scene? For Aaron Yan, all it took was five simple steps.

In his recent drama Gloomy Salad Days, the story described Aaron and co-star Serena Fang falling in love with each other during their past lives.

On the day of the shoot, the singer-actor dived straight to the set of the drama after completing overseas commitments and filmed his first bed scene for the drama. While it might have looked like an easy scene, Aaron was actually stressed out.

"I didn't know where to put my hands, or how much body contact we should have," said the idol.

The director Zero Chou however told Aaron to "give himself to Serena Fang".

Aaron undertook the scenes responsibly and even came up with five steps of preparation, namely "brushing teeth, putting on perfume, doing push-ups, wearing swimming trunks and taking in a bit of alcohol".

Apart from brushing his teeth for at least 10 minutes in order to retain the freshness of his breath, he even sprayed on perfume, which was said to excite female hormones. The actor demanded Serena to grade him and his co-star gave him "face", by replying "not bad" shyly.

As the singer-actor also wanted to look great on television, he did a couple of push-ups before the actual filming.

He explained, "I wasn't sure which part of my body was going to be revealed, so I trained up my back and arm muscles."

Furthermore, Aaron wanted to wear only underwear for the scene, but added an extra pair of swimming trunks after the production crew warned him about accidentally exposing more than he should.

Lastly, to relax his nerves, Aaron drank some alcohol before the shoot, only to fall asleep while the director was adjusting the camera. She shook him for a period of time before he woke up.

"I wanted to just take away my nervousness initially, but I guess I ended up being too relaxed," said Aaron in embarrassment.

Aaron's courage boosted after this experience, claiming that he would "take more clothes off the next time".

Fahrenheit Member Aaron Yan has ear infection

When one of your fans apparently blew S$700 on a mobile phone handset just to get her own hands on tickets to your exclusive event, you just gotta show up no matter at what cost, even if an ear infection is troubling you.

That’s what Aaron Yan, one quarter of Taiwanese boy band, Fahrenheit, did at their music showcase last week at St James Power Station, and jointly organized by Sony Ericsson and M1. Tickets to the exclusive event were only available by purchasing a handset by the phone maker. Obviously that didn’t deterred fangirls who willingly splurged for an opportunity to cozy up with their idols.

The four lads made their appearance at 8.30pm and crooned their popular radio hits such as ‘New Home’ and ‘Ai Dao’ because they knew that local fans adored them.

It was revealed that while the band was busy with their concert preparations in Hangzhou, Aaron’s ear became infected (Meniere’s Disease) due to the change in climate and sudden temperature drop.

The 24-year-old was still on intravenous therapy when they landed in Singapore last Tuesday. He did not attend a radio interview, but being the professional that he was, decided to attend the fan-meeting session afterwards to not disappoint them.

During the fan session, the boys looked back on their activities of 2009, and poignantly said, “Holding a concert world tour this year makes it feel particularly meaningful. We are thankful to the local fans for being really concerned about our activities although we have not been visiting Singapore.”

The quartet then pinky-promised fans that they’ll return and visit Singapore again next year.

Taiwan Arron Yan and Ah Ben are gay?

Recently Arron Yan and Choc7’s Ah Ben have been rumoured to be “brokeback”. The two have been together watching movies, browsing department stores and Ah Ben has enjoyed being glued next to Arron. When Fahrenheit went to work in Hong Kong Ah Ben was rumoured to be there as well making this relationship hotter as the rumour is passed around. Ah Ben exclaimed that it is very hard to make real friends in the entertainment circle so he will especially value each friendship that has been developed.

Arron and Ah Ben met last year while they were filming idol drama [TaoHua’s Love Conquers All]. Arron and female lead Gui Gui had an argument and a hostile relationship broke out so Ah Ben became the peacemaker but in the end the drama got cut. However, even though the music has stopped the people haven’t left yet. Since Arron’s debut, a yoga man* has been photographed coming in and out of his home before and he has also been caught on camera going on a trip with ex Bang Bang Tang (Lollipop) member Gua Gua. Now he has been caught again going out frequently with Ah Ben.

Arron’s love of getting mixed with boys does not stop. Ah Ben is gentle and fair skinned and has been named a member of the princess club in Bang Bang Tang so there’s enough feminine flavour whilst his sexual orientation is also a mystery. When Ah Ben was asked by reporters, he laughed and said without thinking: [I’ve heard many people say we are a couple ages ago] while Arron’s management company denied the rumours and told everyone to stop twisting their normal friendship.

As for his own choice of shares, Calvin confesses that it really isn't that good and that he hasn't actually gained much profit, but it's like a small business, after all this is his interest.
