HONG Kong actress Carina Lau Ka Ling, who married Tony Leung Chiu Wai last year, is ready to have a baby, China Press reported.
Lau denied a report that she had to seek medical treatment because she was unable to get pregnant, the daily said.
“The report is a joke. Maybe they are trying to sell their copies. I can get pregnant anytime. I will continue acting even though I am pregnant.
“I have already prayed to God (for a baby). Tony and I decided to let things take their natural course,” she said.
The daily also reported that international superstar Jackie Chan’s out-of-wedlock daughter Etta was enjoying a life of luxury in Shanghai under the care of her mother Elaine Ng.
Etta, 10, is said to be staying in an expensive bungalow, studying in an established school, eating at classy restaurants and riding in luxury cars.
Chan had an affair with actress Ng, who gave birth to Etta in 1999.
According to sources, Ng is planning to bring Etta back to Hong Kong to further her education.
