Sharon Chan, the "Ban Smoking Ambassador" disclosed that she was a smoker when she was young. She did try to give it up on and off many times without success. In 2003, her father has died of lung cancer and that made her realize that smoking actually seriously damages ones health. She decided to give up smoking and had support from her friends who were so impressed with her determination. Sharon reckoned not only smoking damages health, it also ruins ones image too. She gave an example of a girl who has a cigarette in her mouth. Even though she maybe beautiful, the smokes actually cover all her beauty. Sharon also thinks that the older the person is, he/she would want to treasure he/her life. Sharon reveals that 80% of her friends are smokers, who try not to smoke in front of her.
Speaking about the "third" person in a telephone conversation involving Kenix Kwok and Frankie Lam, Sharon said she knows both of them. Earlier on, Sharon was filming "Born Rich" in Sabah with Kenix and saw Frankie visiting her. The couple appeared loving each other, they swam and sunbathed together. Sharon doesn't think their marriage is on the rock and the public shouldn't take much notice of the media.
